Personal Word To Christians

We will be studying Satanism in a Very Specific And Isolated Way. We will be studying it as a Deliberate Act of Worship --- a Deliberate Devotion And Service to Satan. We will notice a Distinct Difference between Satanism, Witchcraft, Paganism, and Humanism. As Christians, we realize that there are only two forces on earth --- God --- Satan. The Bible Makes No Distinction between Satanism, Witchcraft, Paganism, or Humanism. However, in this study, we will note a very distinct difference because we will be studying the subject from Their Viewpoint as well as from the Biblical perspective.

I. Enlightened Israelites Regarded Paganism (Idol Worship) As Demons Worshiped By Man.

A. Leviticus 17:7, "And they shall no more offer their Sacrifices Unto Devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations."

B. Deuteronomy 32:17, "They Sacrificed Unto Devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new [gods that] came newly up, whom your fathers feared not."

C. Psalms 106:36-37, "And they Served Their Idols: which were a snare unto them. Yea, they Sacrificed Their Sons And Their Daughters Unto Devils,"

II. The Dynamic of Idolatry Is Demonism.

A. Idolatry is in reality the worship of gods who are demons.

I Corinthians 10:20-21, "But I [say], that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils."

B. These gods are headed by Satan, the "God of This World."

II Corinthians 4:4, "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."

III. Matthew 13:37-38, "He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;"

A. The reapers only found Wheat and Tares:

1. Children of the Kingdom,

2. Children of the Wicked One.

B. You do not have to strike a deal with Satan (or even believe that he exists) in order to be his servant.

C. Not a single soul was found who did not fit neatly into one of these categories.

IV. Matthew 7:22-23, " Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

A. Many "demon-busters" today, are seeking to cast out the demons of pornography, drug-abuse, and violence.

B. Certainly, we should never belittle any good work --- however, in the light of eternity, these good works are no more than filthy rags tendered in payment for heaven.

C. Today's most successful demons are still Materialism, Complacency, and Self-Righteousness.

1. Satanism may have slain its thousands, but these have slain their ten-thousands.

2. The issue isn't whether or not we Hate The Devil And Demons --- the issue is whether or not We Love Jesus Christ.

D. The way to hell is broad enough to accommodate the Ritual Murderer as well as the Nice Lady Next Door who bakes pies for your family --- but Who Rejects Jesus Christ.

V. One Last Thought:

Occult Involvement offers Fallen Humanity the contact with the spiritual world that they yearn for Without Threatening Their Depravity --- Christians Alone are in a position to show them the truth about the spirit world.
